Pu’erh is a Chinese tea from Yunnan that is post-fermented through microbial ageing, produced by piling and heating the leaves, then drying, resting for months to years, and often compressing into cakes. Yiwu Pu’erh teas are known to mature faster than those from other regions. Crafted from exceptional material harvested from very old trees, it expresses a classic and unmistakable Yiwu character.
The aroma and flavour are led by sweet, bright notes of aromatic wood and vanilla. The liquor is silky, thick, and naturally sweet. As the session unfolds, gentle nutty tones emerge, with a faint hint of nut-skin bitterness, delicate herbs, and soft florals. The woody elements gradually recede while the vanilla sweetness becomes more pronounced.
